Start slowly... make it sound creepy!
I like to acquaint my piano students with this part of the Peer Gynt story, for which Edvard Grieg wrote his music, the Peer Gynt Suite.
Peer Gynt (something of a rascal), is trying to sneak quietly through the mountains without attracting the attention of the trolls living there. Alas, the trolls find and capture him!

It is a good thing that the left hand is so repetitious, because the right hand is very tricky and demands some attention! There are a lot of stretches, and your students may completely ignore the excellent fingering I have provided, unless they are used to chord inversions, or have mastered the first page of Fur Elise (free, way down at the bottom of this page).

Not easier - just shorter
This version stops short of the key change up to E major. However, the stretches in the right hand which take you into a shifted hand position is still there - and is still the primary stumbling block for most students!
But... I did place a few letters in notes for younger note-readers. However, when learning a new piece, my favorite thing is to have a note-reading worksheet at hand to refer to, and ask my students to write the tricky notes' names onto their music in tiny letter. (Ideally they would be carrying one of these worksheets in the pocket of their music binder, to be able to pull it out quickly anytime.)
Let the student decide...?
I have even allowed students to make up their own fingering at measure 8, the tricky spot! Many of them find it much easier to hop to a fresh position, rather than s-t-r-e-t-c-h and shift. THAT is why I left fingering entirely out of that measure in the short arrangement.
Work with your student
If the two of you can find a workable fingering that is REPEATABLE, then I suggest handing them the pen and asking them to write their own fingering in. The plain fact is, as I frequently tell students, that if they use the same fingering each time, they will learn their piano piece at least 10 times faster!
